CONNECTION PROJECT
This year, the SMCALA has agreed to make The TWIG one of our Community Connection Projects. The TWIG, located at 826 E. Venice Avenue, Venice, FL provides a stylish boutique that children in foster care or non-relative care can shop completely free of charge. Every month children ages infant to 18 years old can choose 7 items at the boutique with the help of a personal shopper. New and nearly new school clothes, everyday wear, job attire, shoes and pajamas are available. In addition they can choose new socks and new underwear, a personal accessory and a book. As children shop at The TWIG they receive encouragement and hope. They hear that they are valuable.
Here is where we come in...in addition to having a clothing and shoe drive, we are also accepting financial donations on behalf of The TWIG. If you would like to make a donation, please process your payment below.
